The Glunz Tavern, restored to its turn-of-the century roots.
Originally founded in 1888 by Louis Glunz I, this popular neighborhood gathering spot sat vacant for more than 90 years following its closure during the Prohibition. It now stands as a 48-seat destination at the hands of his granddaughter and great-grandson. The Glunz Tavern of the 21st century presents a world-class tasting experience of the finest wine, beer, and spirits, complemented by a menu of classic refined European-style fare.
Whether stopping in for a meal or looking to complement their preferred beverage with a satisfying snack, diners will enjoy a thoughtful selection of classic tavern favorites reminiscent of the early 20th century, modernized with high-quality ingredients and worldly inspirations. The Glunz Tavern’s menu will present influences that span the team’s collective French-German-Alsatian-Austrian heritage, rooted in warm hospitality and attentive service.
